This morning we headed to Rigi with the Stockers. Good thing they are here to show us all around, they have been priceless!
We went to the town of Weggis to catch the cable car part way up and then hike a path they know well. The scenery was amazing!
From there we took a "cog wheel" train to the top where we enjoyed the view and watched the paragliders trying to catch the right wind to launch.
Tonight, our last night here the have invite us for a traditional Swiss dinner, Raclette.
Tomorrow we are leaving here....;( to head to Reggio. We have mapped out the path over the Gotthard pass so we will be in the snow capped mountains. Rick and I did this on our trip last summer and I am really looking forward to seeing this again. There are some spectacular views!
