School visit!

While we are still in Switzerland, before to heading to Reggio on Sunday, we took the opportunity to visit Vanessa's school. I must be truthful, first we had a small shopping extravaganza to the Victorinox factory where Martin's brother works (assuring us of the deep discounts) and then the Felchin chocolate factory.
Vanessa was my PreK student and is now in 6th grade. They keep the same teacher here for two years. Everyone walks to school, there are no buses and there is no food, everyone goes home between 11 and 1 for lunch ahhhhh, no food, no buses.....awesome!
We drove up to the school, parked, got out and began to take pictures. We laughed that at our school, someone would call the police. Walked in, went to Vanessa's classroom, knocked, walked in no office, no sign in, no locks....wow, we were blown away! The layout and feel of the building reminded me of Washington school where I went to grade school. The kids had painted their footprints outside on the ground. We laughed about the trouble we had when we just made a few splatters at Aspen......
More later! Enjoy the photos!
